Cherrapunji, Meghalaya sits at coordinates 25°18'N, 91°42'E — and receives more rainfall than almost anywhere else on the planet. It is here, in the misty hills of Northeast India, that Raincheck Earth harvests that rain, builds a supply chain from village farms and forest foragers, and distills it all into a gin that has won recognition on stages from London to San Francisco.

Twelve botanicals, all native to India's Northeast. GI-tagged Khasi mandarin — called the King of Oranges — brings an unmatched natural citrus brightness. Kaji Nemu lemon from Assam adds a juicy, aromatic sharpness. Wild Sohmarit Khlaw long pepper from the Garo Hills contributes a heat-meets-citrus complexity. Pine-smoked tea from the Lushai Hills lends a delicate bitterness and toasted earthiness that gives the gin its signature finish. Black cardamom from Sikkim adds warm, woody depth, and Eastern Himalayan juniper provides the clean, resinous backbone that makes this unmistakably gin.
