GianChand Single Malt Whisky

GianChand is an Indian single malt from DeVANS, one of the oldest distilleries in India, established in 1961 with over six decades of experience in malt spirits. Mildly peated and aged in American bourbon barrels, it is a tribute to founder Dewan Gian Chand, a pioneer of malt-making in India. Today the legacy is conserved by the third generation of the family.

TASTING NOTES

• Colour: Brilliant gold.
• Aroma: Brandy snaps, gingerbread, dried apricots, prunes, honeycomb toffee, hay, sweet spice, mild peat and dry oak.
• Palate: Sweet and creamy, with nutty honeycomb, a touch of salt and dried ginger. It turns dry and lightly tannic, with a pop of spice.
• Finish: Medium to long and dry, with bitter chocolate and white pepper.
