Camikara – India's First Pure Sugarcane Juice Rum
Camikara is the first rum produced in India from pure sugarcane juice. Its name comes from Sanskrit and means "liquid gold." It is distilled in copper pot stills and undergoes an extensive maturation process of 8 years in American ex-Bourbon oak casks.
Camikara is a testament to purity: it contains no added flavourings, colourings, spices or sweeteners – a 100% natural rum that lets the true essence of sugarcane juice shine through, best enjoyed neat.

🌾 Pure sugarcane juice, not molasses. Unlike most rums, Camikara is distilled directly from freshly pressed sugarcane juice – not molasses. The result: a purer, more complex character. 🛢️ 8 years in American ex-Bourbon oak. Matured in the subtropical climate of northern India, where the angel's share is 10–12% per year. Alcohol and water evaporate evenly, so the rum retains a consistent alcohol content despite the reduced volume.

Tasting Notes:
Colour: Natural amber.
Nose: Sweet and fruity with notes of raisins and dates. Gentle spice, melon and subtle hints of vanilla.
Palate:Fruity with notes of liquorice and leather. A subtle hint of salinity with earthy undertones. Soft, gentle wood aromas.
Finish: Fruit-forward and delicately spiced, with a soft touch of charcoal smoke. Oak spice and vanilla create a pleasant, long finish.
