Deep in the Khasi Hills of Meghalaya, Northeast India, a craft gin distillery does something no one else does: it harvests rainwater to make its spirits. Not as a marketing story — but as an obligation to the land that gives them everything.

Cherrapunji Eastern Craft Gin is the original expression. Built on 12 native botanicals — GI-tagged Khasi mandarin, Kaji Nemu lemon from Assam, wild long pepper from the Garo Hills, pine-smoked tea from the Lushai Hills, black cardamom from Sikkim, and Eastern Himalayan juniper — it opens with a bright citrus burst, moves into creamy spice, and finishes long with a subtle smoky-earthy echo. Cherrapunji Berry Gin is what happens when restraint meets an elusive wild fruit. Each autumn, for just six weeks, the Sohiong berry ripens uncultivated in the Khasi and Jaintia Hills. Harvested by hand, in rhythm with its natural season, it is paired with cold-infused Dyingling cherry blossom petals — the pink blooms that briefly cover these same highlands. No colouring, no sweeteners, nothing manufactured. The result is a naturally blush gin with sweet-tart berry at the fore, soft floral lift, and a smooth, rounded finish that remains composed and true to the base gin beneath.

Both expressions are distilled in energy-efficient Dutch stills, bottled in military-grade reusable stainless steel weighing just 158g — a bottle designed to outlast a decade of pours.
